Sunoco Logistics Partners L.P. engages in the transport, terminalling, and storage of crude oil and refined products in the United States. The company operates in four segments: Crude Oil Pipelines, Crude Oil Acquisition and Marketing, Terminal Facilities, and Refined Products Pipelines. The Crude Oil Pipelines segment transports crude oil principally in Oklahoma and Texas. The segment consists of approximately 4,900 miles of crude oil trunk pipelines and 500 miles of crude oil gathering lines that supply the trunk pipelines. The Crude Oil Acquisition and Marketing segment gathers, purchases, markets, and sells crude oil using approximately 200 crude oil transport trucks and 120 crude oil truck unloading facilities primarily in the mid-continent United States.
