We are a growth-oriented limited partnership formed by Antero Resources Corporation (NYSE:AR) to own, operate and develop midstream energy assets to service Antero's rapidly increasingproduction. Our assets consist of gathering pipelines and compressor stations through which we providemidstream services to Antero under a long-term, fixed-fee contract. Our assets are located in therapidly developing liquids-rich southwestern core of the Marcellus Shale in northwest West Virginia andliquids-rich core of the Utica Shale in southern Ohio, which Antero believes are two of the premierNorth American shale plays.
